Derry Meeting (10.12.2009 - 11.12.2009)
The meeting in Londonderry was focused on the linguistic preparation and language acquisition within the framework of mobility projects. More specifically: methods of language acquisition; EU strategy to support language acquisition; pre-departure linguistic preparation of the LdV beneficiaries and accompanying courses during the internship. A second theme to be approached was strategies and systems to support participants with special needs. Within this scope we visited two institutions, that shared best practice examples with us – “The Women’s Centre” and “Seeds“.
As in every meeting there was the possibility to meet the local network of the hosting partner and Mr. Mark Durkan MP MLA was invited to discuss with the group ideas of projects, and debate issues within the European arena.
