Derry ECVET Meeting (31.03 - 02.04.2011)

At the end of March one of the oldest walled cities in Europe Derry/ Londonderry hosts the second meeting of EuPQua ECVET partnership. Two topics – NVQF (National Vocational Qualifications Framework) and EVQF (European Vocational Qualifications Framework) – full the agenda of the first day. Within this context the partners will compare - entrance requirements/ where will this qualification take them?/ further vocational and academic qualifications? - for the four vocational courses we case study during the project.

This round table discussion is completed with visits to the North West Regional College, where the VET Professionals from Portugal, Spain, Poland and Germany meet trainers and teachers from Derry.

The second working day is dedicated to visiting work placements and evaluation of mobility participant’s satisfaction. The challenging programme finishes with a visit to the major of Derry in Guildhall.
